Doo Doo Doo Lookin' Out My Back Door
Running around to get dinner cooked, the kids in bed and all the chores done can become a chaotic nightly ritual. Don't forget to take time to enjoy what's going on outside. Even reserving a minute to look out your back door can relieve stress, help you relax and in some cases take your breath away. I am fortunate enough to see this most mornings and evenings. A beautiful bell tower, a modern castle, rolling hills and a look into a sparkling valley! What's out your back door?

I have looked out your back door and it is everybit as beautiful as your picture says it is...can't wait to look out again in Sept.
ReplyDeleteThere's a parking lot out my back door. Not much to look at. If I had your view I think I'd be spending much more time there though!
ReplyDeleteWell jeepers, I've got some dead grass, weeds and 2 sheds! Gotta love it though! What a nice reminder to remember the small things!
ReplyDeleteI have a huge backyard for my toddler to run in. It is great.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy watching the sunrise. It's finally starting to come up on my way to the bus stop again. Yippee! We just see our backyard out the window and the house behind us on the next street. Sometimes a cat will visit.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your SITS day.
hi again! Where in Italy do you live?
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful view!! When I look out our backdoor I see our camper. But out the front door is a view of some land not yet used by the town cemetary abd is a pretty nice view!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a gorgeous view. Thanks for the words of wisdom.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful view and picture. Those colors of the sunset are gorgeous. I have goats out my backdoor, and a couple horses, woods and pasture and snow right now. Could do without the snow.
ReplyDeleteDuring my time in the Navy I learned that even if the landscape isn't as beautiful, the sky is often willing to put on a spectacular show.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely view. You are one lucky lady.
ReplyDeleteLovely! And you're right about taking a moment to stop what you're doing and look out. Happy SITS Day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture and great advice!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from SITS...
I am so jealous that you actually live there! I studied abroad in Italy and loved it! What town?
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm over from SITS. What a beautiful view you do have! My view is not near as pretty as I see a street but I also see our cats waiting on breakfast and they make me smile.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! What great motivation to take a moment for yourself every once in a while
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing view!
ReplyDeleteWhen I look out my back door I see pine trees. LOTS of pine trees. Also the occasional deer will pass through. It's quite peaceful.
Oh beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo true....I had to stop and admire the moon the other night...it was so gorgeous! The little things...
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I don't have as beautiful of view as you have in your back door. But we do have trees and brush to keep a barrier between me and my noisy neighbors:) Thank God for small favors.
ReplyDeleteLooks gorgeous! You have a great view :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, how breathtaking!! That view is definitely NOT out my back door, but I can still find peace in looking outside and taking in the wonder that is nature!
ReplyDelete:)

A castle and a bell tower in the distance? Gorgeous. I don't have much of a view at all, but if I had that one, I'd be outside every day.
ReplyDeleteOh, you are so right. Just last night, I was admiring some deer feeding in our backyard. They stayed longer than ever and laid down for a while! It was amazing! I couldn't snap pics though, because they'd hear the door and run off.
ReplyDeleteSounds like an amazing view! We have some woods and a small creek. When it's warm enough, Hubby and I love to sit on our porch at dusk and take it all in.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful view out your back door....Mine is pretty good too, I have over 600 acres of preserve that we back up to and between that and the sun setting back there every night I always get lost in it. ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. You're right, it's important to take time to appreciate the beauty all around.
ReplyDeleteI love this picture! :) What a great view from your back door! My back door is beautiful in the summer time...a field of hay and the sun setting! Happy SITS Day!
ReplyDeleteI must say that your view is beautiful! Although the sight of my kids playing in the yard is also pretty amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteI love those simple things in life - my back door is the Pacific Ocean... ahhh!
ReplyDeleteA lot of toys against the backdrop of my garage :-(
ReplyDeleteYou win this one!
I have a decent view out my door...but wow a modern castle and bell tower. That would be such a lovely change. My friends moved to Europe for a few years(they come back this summer) and I have LOVED every single picture she has shared. What a different type of scenery you all have over there. :)
ReplyDeleteI get to see a lake when I look out my back door... but I have to admit that you've got a fascinating view!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful view! Congrats on your SITS day!
ReplyDeleteThe woods and we usually get a greaat view of the sun setting, which i love. No castles or bell towers though.
ReplyDeletebeautiful!
ReplyDeletei'm on a small lake. so i love looking out the back windows.
I don't have a back door, but there is a beautiful field and woods beside our apartment! Thanks for reminding to always think about the small things because life surely can get hectic at times!
ReplyDeleteOops! I don't have a back door, but I do have a side door, but it just opens up to see the side of my neighbor's house. But I know what you mean about taking the time to look outside.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhhhhhhh. The colours of love! Even the Italian skies are romantic!
ReplyDeleteOutside my back window right now? Snow...and snow-filled clouds soon to dust us once again with snowflakes!
I'd rather prefer looking out any side of my house than my back door, actually. The back door opens onto a view of a muddy cow lot :) The front door faces rolling fields and the windows at either side of my house offer a great view of the sunrise/sunset though!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture!
ReplyDeleteOK ... bamboo is out my back door but I sure like your view!
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is: beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThere is a yard, garage, and houses out my back door. I love looking out my fron door because its my beautiful church. That relives my stress. That was a awesome picture.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Out my back door? A meadow and woods. Nice, but not as nice as a castle!
ReplyDeleteSnow,Snow and more snow....it's lovely really!
ReplyDeleteWow! I have never been to Europe. I have to go when my boys are old enough to stay behind so I can actually enjoy myself.
ReplyDeleteAnd outside my backdoor is a small fenced in yard with tons of outdoor toys, covered in snow right now. Then, another house.
