Norfolk Virginia is full of historic charm, amazing museums and fabulous restaurants. If you ever find yourself in this amazing city you must visit my favorite dining establishment, The Boot. They focus on local goods, working to explore and preserve fine Virginia heritage food-ways. The menu depicts inspiration of Italian cuisine yet works closely with Virginia farmers and artisans to bring the freshest ingredients of the season to the table. Their space is also a music venue housing various traveling and local acts which in turn nurtures the growing music scene of this fair city. Their goal is to create experiences that stand out from the commercial monoculture with inspirational food, music and art.
